Summer Institute of Linguistics Australia (SILA) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Melbourne School of Theology (MST). SILA subjects can now be offered as ACT (Australian College of Theology)-accredited units in undergraduate and graduate awards under the MST banner.
Rosemary Wong, the Chair of MST said, ‘It is great to join forces with SILA so we can widen the range of subjects available to our students. We value SILA’s expertise in the whole area of language development, and we are confident that their subjects will be of great value and interest to our students who are training to work cross-culturally’.
Moyra Dale, the Chair of SILA, commented, ‘We are excited to take our relationship with MST to this next level. We see that MST has a great vision to grow their impact in cross- cultural mission, and we want to be a part of that. We plan to continue to develop and expand our subject offerings so that we can add maximum value to what MST is able to offer to students’.
